I am a sophomore in college, and am working on a capstone project analyzing a number of bass covers of this song in the hopes of better understanding how cover artists like you influence the online bass cover community, and why cover artists make the musical choices that they make in their videos. How would you describe the online bass cover community? What inspires or motivates you to make covers? What influenced your decision to cover this song using a pick? I also noticed that in your cover, you played a B before playing the low G that comes at the end of the pre-chorus, while the original version of the song does not include this B note. What influences, artistic or otherwise, lead you to add this note into your cover? I am similarly curious about your choice to add in the B followed by the low G with a vibrato which you played at the end of your song.
